iPad Pro iPad Pro 12.9 Fullscreen Video Issues?

Has anybody else noticed that within certain apps that fullscreen video is displayed with the top status bar (time, date, wifi, battery icons etc.)?

I have noticed this on my new (3rd gen) iPad Pro 12.9 within the YouTube App and within the BT Sport App (enhanced Player). I have moved from an iPad Pro 10.5 and I don't recall this happening there, although I might be mistaken...

Yeah couple of threads around this issue. Until apps get optimised to allow for the rounded corners and ‘safe areas’ we will see these enforced bezels. Give it a couple of weeks and developers will push out updates

The develops definitely needs some time to update their apps, this happens every time Apple introduces a new form factor.
