iPad Pro IPad Pro 12.9 inch with Magic Keyboard battery life disappointing?

Seems like I’m only getting ~ 6 hours of battery life when using both. Is this normal?

I agree that the battery life seems a bit short to be honest. But mine is brand new so maybe it needs to adjust its self first.

But it is fine as I don’t deplete the battery during the day.

I have been noticing the same thing and I am a bit disappointed with the battery life. I have now just turned off the backlight and will see if if this helps.

It’s more to do with using it outside than the keyboard. At maximum brightness the iPad drains quickly

I have just done a quick search on this and it appears some articles are stating it is due to a defect Magic Keyboard but I am not entirely sure that is factual. Has anyone had a replacement and noticed a significant increase in battery life even with the same amount of usage?

I thought It was because of the backlight that the magic keyboard drains more battery?

Mac rumors forum was crushing my battery for some reason on my 11”. Stopped using the forum and battery was great. Installed a content blocker on safari to help with all the ads and junk and battery life is much better even on macrumors. I thought it was my magic keyboard and it wasn’t. Not sure if the 12.9 is any different but I’d check that out too.

i personally hate keyboards you have to charge seperately. I'd rather take the battery hit.
