I'm looking to replace my 2012 MacBook Air. I was thinking for a while that I'd get the new MBP without the touchbar, but now I'm considering the new iPad Pro as it's obviously a lot cheaper and can swing 512 storage. Thoughts?

I do a fair amount of photo editing, but that's the extent of any "pro" tasks I'd be doing. With the addition of the affinity photo app for iPad, it seems like it might be a cheaper alternative. Has anyone used the new Affinity app with the pro model? Is 4GB of memory sufficient? Other tasks would be basic, web browsing, mail, iTunes, pandora/spotify/sling etc.
