[Think I may have posted this in the wrong thread...apologies for a duplicate post...]

Hello,

I want to preface this by saying I definitely have OCD when it comes to expensive electronics and I am not trying to start any type of controversy.

I purchased an iPad Pro 12.9 128GB last night and it is working flawlessly. However, I have noticed that the screen and chassis have a slight curvature along each edge, with concavity on the screen side. If you hold it up to your eye and sight one of the edge lines (either along the screen edge or chassis) it is visible and is present along all four edges to the apparent same degree. I'd say at worst it is probably out of plane by 1/32" to 1/16".

I have noticed others talking about the iPad Air 2 having similar issues (see the following threads):
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6628949?start=0&tstart=0
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ipad-air-2-very-slightly-curved.1808408/

It appears the issue is due to the overall thin design of the device. I didn't want to bother going through a return just to find the same issue with another brand new device.

Anybody else run into this?

Thanks

I knew it! It BENDS! That is just awesome.

Does it get hot too?
I have not used it enough to notice any heat issues. It is a large device, so I am not all that surprised that it would be somewhat "flexible". Obviously it is not as rigid as a 0.27" of plate steel!

My main use for this device will be reading comics which look amazing on this screen! I am probably insane to purchase such an expensive device for such a singular purpose (I play games and surf the web as well), but the screen color is just amazing.
