iPad Pro iPad Pro 12.9 with cellular not (yet) available in China?

I was looking to get the new iPad Pro 12.9 with cellular, but apparently the government needs to give their approval…
Does anyone have any idea when that could be? Never had that problem with the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Without a clear idea of when it will be available for preorder, it’s really easy to miss that early bird window to still get it delivered early… ?

FWIW the new iPad Pro isn’t yet available at all to pre-order in Mexico. A friend was planning to order this morning.

Yes, indeed it is..

I called Apple and they don’t know about the date either. Good thing I preordered a Wifi 12.9 as a backup option — delivery on launch day.

Maybe foreigners can’t use the cellular option in the iPad anyways — just like it’s the case for the Apple Watch. ??
