Winner Winner Chicken Easy!

I was recording a match I played, I thought it went particularly well. So, I decided to share!

Enjoy everyone! PUBG Mobile is so much fun! It is like a quality console experience! 120FPS,120HZ iPad Pro 11” 1TB.

Video needs more garish dubstep. What is this, a soundtrack for a Baroque dinner party?

2/10

Are you using an external Bluetooth controller?

How do you know it's running at 120fps?

I have the frame rate set on extreme, and from what Tencent games explained “extreme setting will allow the frame rate to run at a steady 120fps” Although a frame rate will fluctuate constantly, so is it 120fps all the time? I have no idea probably not. High refresh rate gaming or high FPS gaming is very CPU dependent, as the load is no longer trying to push the GPU as hard. And considering how fast the IPC is on a A12X, I’d think an iPad Pro 2018 will maintain 90-120FPS easily all the time, and that’s with “Balanced” graphics settings, AA on, with full shadows on too.

Obviously with 120hz you’d ideally want around 80fps minimums and at least 90fps+ average to take advantage of a smooth experience all the time.

I’ll say this though, if I switch back to Ultra graphics detail with only 60fps. It feels absolutely unplayable to me. Crazy right? So, how does 30FPS feel? It’s a slideshow! Lol

It’s gonna be easier for FPS games like Fortnite/PUBG when Apple adds Bluetooth mouse support in iOS 13 along with the Smart Keyboard.

Extreme is only 60 fps Not 120

So, every phone or device in the world is 60hz, so if you set the frame rate to extreme it runs at 60fps. Although the Razor gaming phone, and iPad Pro 2nd gen, and iPad Pro 3rd gen have a 120hz refresh rate, so extreme allows 120fps on very few devices.

Yes, extreme is 120fps. “ultra” is 60fps

There’s only (1) phone, and literally (2) iPads that can do this.

Yes I only use the touch screen with my thumbs. The game feels like a quality experience on this iPad. And I was never in to mobile gaming before owning a iPad Pro. I’ve been a PC gamer for years, since about 2002. I remember selling my Xbox on eBay as a kid just to fund a video card purchase to play on PC. Using a mouse is pretty handy for sure, but at 120HZ or hell even just 60hz you can become a beast with your thumbs on a touchscreen, with the right sensitivity, and a little practice too.

I cant see playing this game on a phone, because you cannot see as well. I dunno even know how people play this on a phone lol. A tiny ant sized person sniping at them, how could they even see them to aim? It feels very claustrophobic on a small device!
