I have a 12.9 2017 IPad Pro that I do daily note taking with at work. I’ve had a super solid thick tempered glass screen protector on it since day one. What I’ve noticed when writing and also seeing videos of other people writing on it on YouTube, is that while their writing and lines are smooth, I absolutely can’t produce letters and lines that aren’t squiggly and shaky looking. The slower I write the more wobbly it looks. I’m not a professional artist but I know my hand control is better than these results as I can write on paper really really neatly and perfectly if I want to. Is. It because of the screen protector? Do you think it’s because of how smooth it is? This tempered glass screen protector is ridiculously smooth to the touch like butter. It’s really nice for actual touch input and typing with fingers but doesn’t offer control for writing. Or is it because the glass protector is thicker than plastic protectors and thus the pencil top is farther away from the screen than it should be and there’s some confusion within the detection and screen or whatever?

Get a thinner screen protector and see if that makes a difference.
