Currently using the Ipad Pro 2018 11" with the new apple pencil and noticing major issues with the palm rejection. If my hand is touching the screen at all while drawing, the pencil consistently glitches out and instead of straight lines i'll get a mix of line + shading... if hand is off the screen the pencil acts normally.

I have the "Zoom" accessibility feature turned off. Went to the local Apple store and testing their new iPads and none seemed to have this issue.

Anyone else noticing this or and ways to fix it?

What app is this happening with? I have not had this issue.

Noticed it with many different apps including apple's notes app and procreate
Do you have a screen protector on? It seems this device does not work well with them.

Those two apps are two that I’ve used without this issue. And you didn’t see the issue on the ones in the store, so... it sounds like either there’s something different about your setup or your device has a defect.

No screen protector - If I cant find a solution online I will take it in to the apple store to see what they say.
