Hi I m really confused about The compatiblity of iPad Pro (2020 version) and a Windows PC.
I would Like to use my iPad Pro like graphic tablet, and I m gonna use programs for graphic, animation (Adobe Illustrator, Animate, Premiere, After Effects) toon boom, and video mapping art.
Is It possible to use iPad Pro for that???
What do you think about DUET DISPLAY????
Thanks.

Luna uses a dongle, or at least does on the mac version. I used it for years until I changed my set up deeming it no longer necessary. Great bit of kit.
I’m only assuming the windows version is as good and/or works the same way.

Best to get over it. Set up iCloud on windows and exchange files thru the cloud. Adobe supports several CC
applications on the ipad with largely seamless exchange files, If you are drawing or painting, this is the way
to go. If you are photo retouching, you might do better with a simple graphics tablet

What about Duet Display?
Sorry, I don't use Duet Display. I do use a Luna Display, and will likely be getting a standard copy of AstroPad, to do what the original poster is looking to do, use the iPad as a graphics tablet. At least, I'm hoping Santa brings it. :)

Yes but if I use programs for 3D animation?

And i really Need some programs that Is not possible to download on iPad like After Effects. I Need a laptop, MacBook Pro or Windows..

Sculpting? Blender? Zbrush? Definately get a graphics tablet. I can't coordinate well enough
to paint or draw on a graphics tablet, but it seems to work very well for sculpting. imo!

I think you need to inventory your needs. I found the software like premiere and aftereffects did not require a pen.
For software that needed a pen, I use the ipad with file exchange via icloud on windows. Integration may be better
an apple laptop. So if you're doing art and video imo you need an a ipad and a pc/mac. You could use a cintiq type device, but the hooking up is a pain. Its all about sorting your needs. I was surprised at how great the ipad fit in my
workflow when coupled with icloud
