Hi folks,

i recently bought the new iPad Pro 2020 11". The tablet itself is amazing, but I have a serious issue with its display. Bright 'objects' on a dark background produce some pretty strong trailing when being moved over the screen.

I recorded some videos to show you the problem:

1. iOS Photos app:
I think this is pretty tough on any LCD, but it looks utterly bad on the iPad Pros screen.

2. YouTube app:
Please put your eyes on the profile photo next to the text '1 Woche Essen für 1€ pro Tag' to see the trailing. If YouTube isn't in dark mode, you can't see it that much. The text and some of the thumbnails also show some pretty strong trailing when scrolling through the YouTube Homescreen. It's even stronger when seen with my own eyes.

3. iOS Homescreen:
Please put your eyes on the 'Google News' app icon. The trailing I see with my own eyes here is much stronger (more or less one centimeter of trailing).

Do you also suffer from such strong trailing or did I get a lemon?

Greetings
Sascha

mine does this too, perhaps not as noticeably as yours
very similar to my 10.5 iPad Pro in intensity
it’s a non issue for me personally

I notice it too on mine when in dark mode. My understanding is that it’s just how the display is and some people are just more sensitive to it then others.
