iPad Pro 2024 Smart Folio

Hi there, I just got the new iPad Pro 11’ and am loving the quality. I ordered the new case to protect it, but I need confirmation if this is a defect or if it’s supposed to be like this. See picture Bella below, there is a lot of space for the iPad to move and it’s not even centred

I’m coming from a iPad Air 2 so a big upgrade. The case seems like it doesn’t fit properly around the camera module, I’m used to the prescise cut out of the iPhone cases. Can someone please post their case fit for me to put me out of my ocd meltdown. Thanks x

Can you clarify that you bought the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch (M4), not a Smart Folio as indicated in the thread title?

It is a Smart Folio, not the keyboard, as per the title x

Thanks - that was my mistake, I keep confusing Smart Folio and Smart Keyboard Folio. There is no SKF for the 7th generation iPad Pro so I wanted to make sure that wasn't the cause of the mismatch.

What you're seeing is probably within Apple's manufacturing tolerances. I see a similar slight offset with my iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. My iPad Pro sits solidly in the case, though, so if yours is shifting around that might be cause enough to return the case. It would suggest there's something wrong with the magnets rather than the cutout.

That’s well within the tolerances ….nearly every Apple folio case does this to some degree. Just enjoy it!

My denim blue is the same, but you can move it so it fits perfectly. Hadn’t even noticed in the week I have it until I saw your post. The inner lining dosn‘t feel as plush this year also which is a bit disappointing. As overpriced as it is I still like it, why stick a massive cheap case on such a nice product.
