Just got a brand new Apple Pencil and have been using it for a few days and noticed the cap is loose when drawing (light, sketching, shading, etc)

is that part of the design? or is there a certain way it clicks into place?

as in its Loose, its not completely in place it has some play to it...pretty self explanatory

Mine has a little play if I move it with my finger. Doesn't rattle but I can move it side to side in one orientation (along the flat part of the Lightning connector).

Like the others have said, there is some play there, but it seems to stick.
I haven't had it fall of yet, and my 10 year old sure have tried:)

Just found this :

Kikkerland Pen Cap Stylus, Set of 2 - White (US68-W) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J9D4LJ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_z5YAwbWQ5Y6JE

Not sure if they'll fit, probably can cut it shorter too, but this can help keep the cap snug, and serve as a dumb stylus, and in an app like procreate u would be able to have a touch input register as an eraser brush, so u would have an eraser on the other end of the pencil!
