Had a 10 AM appointment but decided to wait in line before opening to up my chances. Not many people in line so they let in walk-ins too. My fingers crossed.

Bought the iPad Pro 11! Compared it with the 12.9 side by side in the store lighting. The improvement in black levels is negligible but I’m sure it would be more pronounced in dimmer lighting.

Happy to be going home with a new iPad.

The black levels might not be good, but what about the colors?

The black levels on the 12.9" are good. Like I said, the improvements over the 11" is negligible under store lighting. The colors on the 12.9" seems slightly brighter with more contrast, but again the 11" is very close in terms of image quality. This is a big upgrade for me from an ancient 9.7" Pro.
