I have an iPad Pro 12.9 M2 and its great for everyday use for lots of tasks; however, when gaming (Genshin Impact) it gets so hot the screen dims and sometimes the game completely crashes out. The iPad is attached to the Apple Magic Keyboard and Trackpad thing as a stand and I think its insulating the heat a little.

I have no other issues than this.

Any recommendations for a stand that has a fan or something I can use to hold the iPad while I game? Thanks!

Maybe try something like this:

I expect simply not covering the back will help a lot with heat dissipation.

I don’t think you can find a tablet stand with fans and the laptop ones probably won’t have a suitable angle. However, you can use a small USB or battery powered fan in case just leaving the back exposed is insufficient. For example:

I have two of the SmartDevil fans - great little devices.

Well I'm glad I haven't pushed my Pro yet... I don't want cooking flashbacks.
