iPad Pro iPad Pro delivery date changed from 11/7 to 11/19-23

I ordered my iPad Pro right after the Apple store reopened on Oct 30 I received an email stating delivery date of 11/7. Yesterday I checked the status of my order and saw the new delivery dates of 11/19-23.

I called to get an explanation and all I got that the engraving delays the delivery. But it should delay it only by a couple of days and not 12-16 days.

Has anyone else had their Nov 7 delivery date changed?

I had considered the engraving on my Pencil and decided against it when I saw it could be delayed. Keep an eye on UPSMyChoice if you don't have it. As soon as a label is created for delivery to you it will pop up there long before you get any updates from Apple.

The pencil engraving did not delay its shipment. I am receiving it on Nov 7. It is the iPad Pro engraving that is the issue. I just got off the line with an Apple supervisor and after telling him my history with Apple of buying all new products (Mac in April 1984, Macpro 2006, iPhone June 2007, iPad 2010, iPad Pro 2015, Apple Watch 2015), he agreed to help me to get the delivery back to 11/7.

We shall see.
