Is the iPad Pro edge to edge display similar to the one on iPhones where the screen looks like it’s on the surface?

So theres a couple things that need to be separated out. The way the iPhone looks, where the screen appears to be on the surface is a result of the screen being laminated against the glass, removing the air gap. The iPad Pro has that.

”Edge to Edge” is a bit harder... the iPad Pro doesn’t have a home button, or the “forehead” that say the iPad and iPad Air have. The screen goes very close to the edge, but there is a bezel that conceals the Face ID array

Thanks. Do any of the MacBook pros have the screen laminate too?
