iPad Pro for Sheet Music display on Piano. What size do I need? 11 or 12?

If it is just guitar chords than the 11 is fine but if it is notated music I would want to 12.9” to be as close to A4 paper as possible. I would also think about a Bluetooth foot pedal to change pages while playing.
Screen measurements are the diagonal size. "Standard letter" sized paper, either A4 or US Letter, have a diagonal measure approximately 14".
My brother, a professional pianist and piano accompanist, has found the iPad (9.7" I think) that he originally used to be a bit small, as is his current is better (10.5??). Since his current one is beginning to have issues with battery run time (typical aging battery failure), he's planning to replace it with the new 12.9.
He works from scans that he saves in PDF and "reads" with a special app that is specifically designed for this use. He also uses Bluetooth foot pedals for page turning.
I’ve used my iPads for guitar sheet music (standard notation and standard plus tab) for years on various iPads up to the iPad Pro 9.7. The displays were just a bit too small to totally convert from my normal binder with printed paper sheets. With the physical size reduction in this year’s iPad Pro 12.9 I decided to buy it. To my aging eyes, the 12.9 inch display made a huge difference and I am in the process of going digital with my sheet music collection.
The small one is 9.7 inches hegh, with very small bezels, the large one is 11 inches high.
A4 paper is 11.6 inches high.
A little off topic, but what Apps are people using on their ipads for music display on a piano.

OP - 12.9. It’s like reading the music off a sheet of paper. Also, if you want to read orchestral scores then it won’t be easy with anything smaller than a 12.9.
I would go as big as possible. I've been using my iPads for sheet music for a few years now, and bigger is easier on the eyes.
12.9 can give you 2 pages landscape (what I use for piano), although the smaller iPads will look better for single page portrait. I need the 2 pages, so the twelve for me. I've even thought of using two iPads together, but there's no way to use a single foot pedal. (or maybe there is? )
