My iPad Pro 3rd Gen screen gets warm all over while on MacRumors forums. This doesn’t happen on other similar websites. Wondering why.

All the aggressive ads probably. It also kills the battery. I had to get an ad blocker, but you can also make a small donation to the site to disable ads.
There have been a number of similar posts on this for a variety of models - your experience is not uncommon.
This has been going on for a while now. They just don't know how to operate this site. Pathetic that Applecentric site is killing batteries on Apple devices, likely including computers. I noticed this issue immediately after I purchased my M1 Pro.

MacRumors Site/Forums Causing Battery Drain?

And it jumbles up the keyboard typing experience with the ads jamming things up somehow.
Not my iPad Pro, but my iPhone Pro got ridiculously hot 3 times (could not even hold it) that I had to send it in for repair thinking there was overheating issues. Turns out it's because of being on Macrumors (figured it out when they sent it back and they said no internal issues). It gets even hotter when you are taking time writing in the reply text box. Battery drain was severe in the short 30 min span and battery health dropped from 96% to 94% when it overheated.
Not a pleasant user experience and its not because of the ads because I do not get ads on my iPhone and it still overheated by replying and browsing the site.

2021 12.9 Pro, iPadOS 15: I opened this site in Safari with a split window showing CPU utilization and jumped all over, browsing posts, creating replies. CPU utilization stayed under 10% generally, with occasional spikes to about 18%.
