Hey all!

So I am strongly thinking of taking the plunge into the world of ipad. I am wanting to go deeper into art but also have a nice portable tablet for general computing work, and as much as I am a fan of Android, I just dont feel it will meet my needs. Surface Pro was considered but its just as optimized for creative types. Still I am curious if this new iPad M1 requires the apps that ran on previous iPads to be reworked to run on it?

...and developers will optimize their apps for the new M1-chip over time to make sure it takes full advantage of the new M1 iPad. :) Hopefully WWDC will show us a well optimized iPadOS 15 with alot more apps and software for us.

Thanx everyone I appreciate the input :) I have been watching videos non-stop about this amazing device and how it can change my life so as soon as either the 1 or 2TB version is available with my wireless carrier, I am going to get one!
