Hey everyone, I asked in another thread but thought I would also ask in a new one. So the updates to ios11 look great, however, I'm curious if we will be able to run 2 instances of ms word running side by side at the same time. Anyone have an idea if they have the beta, or is it implied that we will be able to through the updates mentioned?

i dont think you can run the same app twice.

a workaround if you dont mind me suggesting is using a writing app that has an in-built split view. Scrivener for iOS allows you to write on two windows side by side. but then you have to learn a whole new app just for this purpose, so its not ideal. Just a suggestion in case you were not aware of the scrivener app.
