I'm having a devil of a time trying to get my new iPad Pro to sync with MacBook Pro. Even Apple Tech Support is having issues. iPad Pro doesn't recognize Music on the Mac; it will download from my library, but does't show up in Music for manual syncing. The iPad Pro also doesn't show up under Finder. I'll be on a call with Apple tomorrow for a possible solution. Yes, I have all the updates and proper cables.

Normally signing in and out of Apple ID plus a restart of the machines does the trick, but I guess you tried that?

In your Mac’s Finder > Preferences > Sidebar > Locations, do you have CDs, DVDs, and iOS devices selected?

I’m having the exact same problem … did signing out and back in using your Apple ID resolve the issue? Did this have to be done on both the Mac and IPad?
