Hi guys,

Just after opinions of those who use a NAS with their iPad Pro and also Apple ecosystem?
With iPad OS13 it makes editing (photos) easier with the ability to connect a USB C camera and see all the photos that have just been taken. Together with Lightroom and/or photoshop, editing is easily done very portably now.
I am wondering peoples thoughts on getting a NAS so in this example you go out and shoot for the day (on location) and want to do a quick edit whilst on location.. Plug camera into IPP, copy ALL or selected photos (RAW and JPEG) taken from the shoot over to a NAS and start being able to edit there and then, still having access to ALL these photos when back on main computer etc later on.
Would also be then beneficial to wireless back up Mac thru time machine.

Firstly, is this even possible, or am I dreaming?
Does QNAP work well with the files app?
Can you work on documents eg word docs on the IPP and save to the NAS to open the doc later on a desktop?

I would be very interested to hear peoples thoughts on this?

TIA.
