iPad Pro screen resolution in Safari?

When I visit - https://supportdetails.com/ - using my 12.9” iPad Pro 2nd gen, it shows my resolution as 1024 x 1366 - which is half the true resolution. Is this just my iPad Pro or do they all show like this? Is it because it’s a retina screen?
