Woo hoo! Mine moved to preparing to ship yesterday! Total surprise to me but just happened to be checking my bank account and realized I was suddenly 1000 lighter lol. Then checked shipping and it had moved! Fingers crossed that it shows up sometime this week! I may need to take the day off of work to bask in all of the new iPad glory! :) hoping others in my delivery range are seeing some movement too!

What? How?
Sorry about that..
It's not pairing with my iPad (or any of my family members' iPads), even though it was working great yesterday. After speaking to 4 different people for over 3 hours, Apple is refusing to send me a new one and just told me to buy a new one. The closest apple store to me is 2 hours away and has no appointments, and I cannot get it repaired anywhere.

never though I'd say this but **** Apple

Oof. Sorry to hear about that.

Apple is really weird when it comes to replacing their Products, sometimes they do great and sometimes they just leave you hanging.

I wonder why it‘s not connecting, that’s interesting.
I’m checking mine now, hopefully it doesn’t have a problem.
It seems to work fine, though it’s been over a month since It has been Delivered.

Haven’t seen ones that feel like paper?!
I’ve had Terrible experience with Paperlike screen protectors. About a week after A Professional installed one on my 9.7” iPad Pro, bubbles started appearing out of nowhere, it was really scratched up from normal use, and it was peeling at the corners. I also read somewhere that it wears the Tip of your Apple Pencil down Faster than usual. Replacement tips are $20 from Apple.

I never had any of these problems with my Zagg Glass Screen Protector. It was great until it got cracked, so I then removed it.

That's not like Apple. I'd try their service chat (or if that's where you were, their 1800 number) -- I once had a motherboard blow out my first MacBook Pro and it was 6 months out of Apple Care and they fixed it for free.

When in doubt tweet at them. I got masks from Disney that were adult XL that barely fit my 9 year olds let alone me and I tweeted at them and had the money back in my bank account in 24 hours.

There is a similar post on the Apple support forums where a user says that after updating his iPad to 13.6.1, the Pencil 2 no longer functions Or registers on the ipad. I believe there is more than one post with the issue.

I am planning on using mine to take lots of notes. How is the writing on the glass protector? Some reviews make it seem like just writing on the screen or the glass protector makes it look horrible.

I’m just about to install 13.6.1 now. Will let you know if it breaks the pencil.

All good on 13.6.1 but it did give me a fright when it wouldn’t work until I put it on the side of the ipad for a second just to re-pair it.

I have a JETech glass screen protector. It took a bit of getting used to writing on glass, but it’s fine after a day or so.

Thank you I will be ordering the JETech for mine as well. Do you mind sharing if you have a case for your IPP and if so which one?

I have the Magic keyboard and love it. I also bought a cheap folio type case off Amazon with the intention of using that when not needing the keyboard. However, so far I've only used the magic keyboard case and it's great. Good protection. When I want to just take the iPad off and watch a video in bed etc I do so. I've Apple care so if it bends, I'm not so worried. I'm very careful with it though and I think it'll be ok. It's not as fragile as people are making it out to be.

Magic keyboard...
