To the people who just ordered it, are you gonna keep it up or cancel it due to the new one possibly being revealed next month?
Seems unlikely to me, considering the current ones just came out 5 months ago and they can't even keep up with demand for those. Then again, I got an iPad 3 shortly after it came out back in 2012 only to see the iPad 4 released later that same year, so who knows?

i ordered a space grey 11 inch 2020 iPad Pro, wifi and 256 gb on August 2nd!! my estimated delivery is sept 3rd-11th (to Canada). My order is still processing and idk when it’s going to finally prepare to shiphow did you guys pass time? this wait is killing me

Mine just arrived at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. It'll likely sit there for the next few days based on everyone else's tracking here, but is still scheduled to be delivered next Wednesday 8/26.

hi based from the videos i watched on youtube, you cant access the swipe to type on full size mode. u have to pinch the screen to make the keyboard small like the ones on iphones and thats when u can do the swipe to type
Yeah, you have to make the Keyboard small first. I wish you could swipe to type on the big keyboard though. But the fingerprints...

where do u guys get that microfiber cloth? is it the same one that comes with the eyeglasses?
You can pay a lot more by getting the ones that say they are for glasses, etc, but I just buy the all purpose ones in a multipack at Walmart. You can find them in the auto detailing section. Just DO NOT use fabric softener when you wash them.
Thats what I was finding too. Kind of disappointed about that cause I only like the full size keyboard, but LOVE the swipe to type..
I thought looking through this thread would give me a little peace knowing that so many others are having the same shipping woes, but just makes me realize I will definitely be waiting the entire time. I bought the 11" 128GB Wifi only on 8/8/20 and still in the "Processing" stage with estimated delivery for Sept 10-17. I bought mine during SC's tax free weekend along with the Magic Keyboard which was delivered in 2 days. I am also trading in my old first generation iPad Pro. My delivery date is Sep 10-17. ABT.com has plenty in stock and fast shipping, so would suggest anyone who really doesn't want to wait to head over there. They have deals for First Responders, students, and Promo codes as well. If I didn't get it during tax free weekend, buying from Corporate perks Apple site, along with trading my old iPad in, I would quickly cancel my order from Apple and order from them... abt.com
got my 12.9 a few days ago. then got the magic keyboard (100 off coupon). If anyone is on the fence about the magic keyboard,,,,,,,,,, go for it. It makes the iPad experience much better. I just thought i would have a nice keyboard, but the trackpad and other niceties, wow, soooo worth it. The build quality is beyond belief and it sits on your knees and it feels so good to type. I sat for 2 hour lecture with it on my knees, felt great. people that talk about it tipping over are crazy. homer all the way around.
The one I use came with an old MacBook Pro.
On another note, while taking notes today I noticed a slight bend on my iPad. I put it against a ruler, it wasn’t bent. I put it against the Apple Pencil, not bent. I put it on the Magic Keyboard, not bent.
It was probably a Optical Illusion. So don’t freak out unless you have solid evidence that it is indeed bent.
I’m looking into getting one of these in the coming months. Just too much to spend right now for me.
On another note....the Facebook app for the iPad is absolutely atrocious😒

Honestly!? I'm so sorry! I thought our iPads would travel together. That they'd form a lifelong bond and FaceTime one another while we're sleeping just to see how each other's days went. I actually heard rumors that mine was already planning their five year reunion.
