iPad Pro Ipad pro shows no indication receiving a charge

My 3rd Gen Ipad Pro will not charge. WHen plugged into the charger, i do not even get an indicator that its trying to charge, the screen is just black. i have checked the charge port multiple times to make sure it is clean. Any suggestions? Could it be the battery is completely dead?

Which version of iPadOS is the iPad Pro on? There was a notable bug in an older iPadOS version where you couldn't charge your iPad at all.

have you tried different cables and charge boxes? Whenever I use a off brand cable it tends to break and stop charging after a few weeks.

To be honest, I am not sure which version of IPadOS is on it. I bought it used like this and have not been able to get it to turn on since.

I did. i bought a new cable about a week ago. No difference

I hope not, but its always a possibility. Did some research and the IPadOS is 13.6.
