I am receiving an error message when the update tries to verify on my iPad Pro for iOS 9.2.1 Beta.

"Unable to Install Update"
"An error occurred installing iOS 9.2.1 Beta 2.

"Retry
Remind Me Later"

Of course restarting or retrying does not allow me to update. I have never run into this problem before on iOS, but I am new to iPad Pro. Is there a way to delete the download package and try again that way or does anyone else have advice to move forward?

Thank you.

You should be able to go to Settings/general/storage & iCloud usage/manage storage, and delete it.

Thanks for the reply, I was able to delete it as you suggested but still have the same problem once I re-download it. I have never had a problem with iOS updates in the past, I am not sure what is going on if this is related only to the iPad Pro, my iPhone 6S Plus updated fine. Any other ideas are appreciated.

Reinstall the beta profile.

I tried that and no luck, same problem, it downloads fine but it gives an error when trying to install. This is on a clean install iPad Pro 128GB Verizon

Thanks I did not notice others were having trouble updating in that thread, it got way off topic there. The site looks like it is in French hopefully I can figure it out :)

Use Google Chrome to download. It didn't work for me in Firefox or Edge.

Tried to update via IPSW and it gave the same error near the end and stopped. This time thru iTunes it said my iPad needs to be restored, went thru that process and got the same error 54. Tried restoring in DFU mode but no luck. iPad Pro is bricked it must have a hardware issue I'm guessing. Genius appointment tomorrow to hopefully get replaced. RIP one week old iPad Pro :( Will report back after Apple Store visit.

Have you tried regular non beta 9.2 IPSW for your iPad Pro? Sometimes we confuse between Wifi and Cellular firmware files.

Secondly, try using different USB port or another PC or iMac all together.

Don't give up that easily.

After a trip to the Genius Bar, it was determined the iPad Pro had a bad logic board. It was replaced on site and I am back up and running. Thanks all for the help/suggestions.
