Hello I have an iPad Pro 11 m1 128 GB I want to upgrade to a bigger iPad screen and more storage

I'm currently in college pre med

Idk if to get a 256 GB 12.9 or stick with the 11 inch ?

I plan to sell my current iPad.

Only issue I can't see well on my current iPad.

Have you tried the 12.9 in a store or a friend's so you can judge whether that size is easier to read on?

For what it's worth, if you crop the usual 0.75-1" borders from letter and A4-sized documents, they're close to or at 100% scaling on the 12.9" iPad.

Well if it’s a struggle to read then going bigger is probably the only solution, either by magnifying the screen on your current iPad, or by getting the physically bigger screen as you suggest, wait till after next months event though, just in case they launch a 15” model.
