Currently having the debate about whether to get the new iPad Air or the iPad Pro, one of my main stumbling blocks is the transition to usb-c I travel a lot and like to plug my current iPad Air 2 into the tv at various hotels. So I already have the lighting adapter. With the iPad Pro do you need the HDMI adapter or can you use a USB-C to HDMI cable which I’ve seen a few online?

Just trying to compare the options and prices !!!!

Saw this on amazon and can do power at the same time!

Can’t speak to that “cable” (which is clearly a tiny hub) but yes, most usb-c to hdmi adapter/hubs work with the new iPad pros. Not all allow HDR I recently discovered, but if the adapter supports it the iPad Pro will do 4K HDR at 30hz I believe. The specs should be on apples page
