Here, there and everywhere
I wanted to asked the hive mind if this is something new with the iPad Pro (9.7"), iOS 10 or a possible hardware problem.

Basically my iPad Pro charges to 100%, then swaps to saying not charging with the battery shown in white, not the green shown while charging.

I've not experienced this previously with any of my other iPad's, or iPhones and therefore trying to see if I need to schedule a Apple Store trip.

Does it switch back to charging again at some point if you leave it plugged in?

Sounds like a software issue, I wouldn't be concerned if it is only something you've seen on iOS 10. Personally, I've never seen that behavior on an iOS device out of the blue and have never seen it with my iPad Pro.

Are you using the 10w or 5w charger?

I was using the 10w charger I had previously used with my Air 2. Not Testes yet with the 10w that came in the box, or the 12w that the iPad 4 had.

Since it's iOS 10 beta and not Public, the Apple Store will only recommend downgrading back and restoring from 9.xx software. Save your gas and time as a Genius Bar appt. will achieve the same thing you could've done at home. If it's not that much stress on you, just wait it out until tomorrow or when the next beta is released. Hope this helped!
