Hello,

I just got an iPad Pro 11 and now i am looking for a case to offer some protection but not add too much bulk.
Inhale a case from Targus, but it is bulky and heavy and kind of harms the USABILITY of the iPad.

So i was looking at the folio from apple.
It seems slim and light enough but the fact that it leaves the whole frame of the iPad exposed kind of worries me, as a knock against something might leave a dent on the aluminum frame.
So if you use a folio, how is your iPad holding up?

Cheers!

My iPad Pro 11 is holding up great. No nicks or scratches whatsoever. It’s thrown in a backpack every day and looks like new! Had the apple folio since it was new, almost a year old now.

Mine is in the folio with no marks at all, but it doesn't travel much and when I take it out it is in a Waterfield bag for protection.

another one for: "In perfect condition. Using a 12.9 inch 3rd generation iPad Pro."

I wanted slim as possible, but protection from scratches so I got this silicone case for my 10.5” and it works great with the the smart folio. I’m sure there’s cases like that for the 11” as well. It’s pretty much brand new underneath, even the smell of a new iPad is still there after 2 years heh.

Perfect condition after nearly a year of going everywhere with me. It’s in my backpack at all times and travels around the world with me. No protection other than the folio and sometimes a padded compartment in my pack.

i was using the folio with my 12.9 and somehow it got a scratch in one side. I switched to this case, which is great and would heartily recommend.

12.9” with the folio. It gets knocked around in my bag a lot. The folio looks like it’s been in a war zone, the iPad looks like it’s new.

I am still thinking about the folio.
But yesterday, to get rid of the weight and bulk of the case i have, I got a Chinese replica of the old smart cases that Apple used to make for the air 1 and air 2.

It is not a perfect case in regard to fit and finish, but the price was 10 euros, so I was not expecting Apple quality.

Anyway, it is slim and light, fits good and all the holes line up good.

Now I’ll test it over the weekend to see if it improves the usage for me.

Same here! Actually pretty amazed at how well it has kept up.

My ipad pro has a dent because it hit the stairs handrails, my house is crowded there is a piano near the stairs so i had to maneuver my way around it. ive never taken it out of the case. Small dent like 2 mm but i was heartbroken lol

beside the quality is subpar for the pricetag imo. The cases edges are chipping away and the case is wrinkling from moistures. Ive had it since january thisyear...
