iPad Pro with USB-C headphones?

Although my 11" iPad Pro is just a few hours away from being delivered, I don't have any USB-C headphones, yet. However, I do plan on trying the upcoming Microsoft Surface headphones later this month. Although these headphones are wireless, I'm wondering if the new iPads can send audio data out? Most certainly the iPad could charge the headphones in a pinch.

Anyone have USB-C headphones they could try?
