So I ordered an iPad Pro 12.9 256GB wifi 2021 edition on 30th April (No W756719785). Received a defective product which has blue dots on the screen , so I opted for a replacement on 23rd may.

On 30th June I got an email saying the product will be delivered on 3rd July.

On 2nd as the track shipment showed no records so I called Apple support multiple time throughout this time. This is follows:

2nd July
Apple support guy: the returned item does not included the invoice so the replacement cannot be handed over to courrier(Blue Dart). I asked is it required to send the invoice , if it is then it should have been mentioned when I asked about this during the return of the product.

3rd July
Apple support guy: there is a technical glitch (said this after an hour on hold) with your order nothing wrong with your return. The issue should be fixed within 48 hours and will receive the product on or before 7th july

5th July
Apple support guy: The replacement that Apple India got from UAE doesn’t have a “Legal Document”(Delivery invoice as I later found out ) that is why it cannot be handed over to blue dart , our team is on it
And you will get an update today at 2-3pm.

6th july
Apple support guy : Really sorry about the inconvenience, the invoice has been generated and the shipment should be trackable Very soon.

7th july
Apple support guy: really sorry for all the trouble, as you know our team is trying our best to deliver it, the invoice has been generated but hasn’t been handed over to delivery team yet. So I cannot say any delivery date regarding this but you should deliver soon

From getting a defective unit, waiting for more than a month for the shipping of the replacement, to getting confused about what the hell happening with the replacement, you need to think about this Apple….

Last year I ordered an iPhone SE from the Apple site here in Finland. First problem was that DHL (contracted by Apple) left it in the wrong lock box at the nearest shopping centre. After two days I received the phone. Then I decided to return it after trying it for a few hours as it bothered my eyes and gave me a headache.

So I online chat with Apple in Ireland and I am told that DHL will pick it up from me at home. I clearly ask what forms do I need to complete for DHL and I am given an online form to complete. I do so and then clearly ask do I need to sign a hardcopy form for DHL. Apple rep says no, DHL does everything required with the online form.

DHL shows up the next day to get the phone and asks for my hardcopy form. I tell the guy I was told by Apple no form was required and I don't have a printer at home. He refuses to take the phone.

What a **** show. Not wanting to deal further with these morons in Apple Support in Ireland, I gave the phone to my wife. She is still using it and since then I am a happy Samsung Galaxy user.

And to top it off, as they thought I was returning the iPhone leather case (which I was as it was ready to go with the phone until DHL refused) Apple's "efficient" internal systems sent me a refund for the case. I still have the case sitting unused as my wife preferred a third party one with a front cover flap which protects the screen in her handbag.
Should anyone wonder, I feel zero guilt for Apple doing themselves out of 45 Euros for a product which probably cost them 5 Euros.

Sounds like you worked out even the small justifications already.
