iPad safari shortcuts

The only one I know is that if you tap the bar at the top, it jumps to the beginning of the page.

Is there any similar shortcut for jumping to the end of a page (like you'd get with the End button on a computer)? Browsing these forums with an ipad i often have to do several stroke gestures to get to the bottom of a page where the new posts are.

As far as I know, there is no shortcut to jump to the bottom of the page in safari.

Once the iPad is jailbroken, you should be able to install ActionMenu, which can add a "Scroll to Bottom" button to the Cut/Copy/Paste menu.

There is a bookmarklet that addresses this shortcoming in safari, as well as one that allows you to find in page. A quick search on google should bring it up.
