I read that there is a way to change Safari on the iPad so that when you open a new page the cursor defaults to the URL address bar instead of always defaulting to the Google search bar. Sorry, but when I go to a new page and the keyboard pops up, I want to type in the address not tap the address bar first because it is always in Google. A simple tapping of the Tab key should move it over to the Google bar.

Anyone know?
