Nope...but I'm also overtly cautious as well with my electronic goods. I wont take it out of the house yet until I get a case for it

Same here. I have a separate pocket for a laptop. I think I may try padding it down. I have never had any problems with my Macbook. However, I want to be very cautious with my iPad.

do you have a case? I wonder how easily the screen breaks. Someone should test it rather than just breaking it with a bat

I'm waiting for my Undercover Cloak, but it's gonna be awhile, so I might grab a cheap case in the meantime...

I dont think it's as fragile as everyone makes it to be. But still, I dont want to be foolish and have it break. It would be nice to see some actual stress testing on the iPad.

I feel it is safe in my laptop bag, I have a case on order but that isn't going to stop me from taking it out and using it now.

I would put the iPad in one of the nCase padded cases, and then maybe wrap it in a jacket or sweatshirt if you can. Just try to keep other hard objects from slamming into it if you fall or something.

I've carried by MacBook Pro in an nCase case, in my Targus laptop backpack, on my motorcycle. That's the ONLY way I feel at all safe carrying it, and I still worry that if I dump the bike, the computer would be toast depending on how I went down.

I just packed mine all around Vegas for 5 days in my backpack. Totally commando. You guys need to stop worrying about them and get out and use them.

I'd be more concerned about MY well-being before my computer's

Don't be a baby, it will be fine.

I'd be worried about the bike, not the iPad.

I know in the summer I'm going to be taking it in my messenger bag to class totally commando. I've been using it without being obsessive over not scratching it and there isn't a scratch in sight.

My iPad has gone in the back pack for the last week.naked with no case.
But it goes in the padded pocket for laptops separate from other things.

For nowits been okay

It says targus on it so that might be the name.
Found it left behind last year on one of the UT Austin dorms
On moving day.

Been happy with it ever since

Well do you put the face towards or away from your back? I kinda feel like I would put it towards.
