Hello. I would like to use a piece of light tracing paper (with minimal texture) over an iPad glass screen with an Apple pencil. Essentially to provide texture while drafting. Will the paper harm the screen or pencil?

Thank you for taking the time and consideration to reply to my question. I am aware of paper-ish screen protectors. I am seeking a consistent, cheaper, visually transparent and handy or readily available alternative to Paperlike (or derivatives of Paperlike). Something which will allow for drag while drawing with the Apple pencil yet not scratch the glass screen or prematurely wear the nib of the pencil. A thought of lightly textured art store tracing (or office supply onion) paper occurred to me.
