Hi, my stepdad has a 128gb iPad Air and an SD to lightning adaptor, however when using the adaptor with a card that has large video files on it such as an edited 3min video in .mp4 or a set of 30+ min GoPro videos, the videos don't show up for the iPad to import - only single pictures or small files do.

Has anybody else had this problem before or have any ideas on how to fix it? He likes to take his iPad away with him but without this working is unable to upload his videos to the web or even see them properly without being home at the computer! Any ideas? Could it be iPad software issues or the adaptor? Thanks :)

iPad will not read Go Pro codec natively. You have to convert the file (s) to .mov first. Then import into iPad.
