I have and iPad Pro 2020 11in and for the past few months I have noticed that when I’m in a call let that me discord for example after a few mins the call audio and my mic will just turn off …..like I can’t hear the call and people on the other side can’t hear me either. Same with google meet (which I use for school). For FaceTime the call just cuts and when I go to call again it doesn’t let me connect to the call. When I go to check voice memo the recording will start and immediately stop. But Siri will work just fine and that shows that my mic isn’t broken, I even tried seeing if my audio in a vedio is recorded and it is. This problem happens and then after some time when I pick up my iPad again it works just fine and then again when I start a call it happens. I have contacted Apple support they told me to go get it checked in store. And I have tried all troubleshooting technique. I can hear all other audio like typing on key etc ……Anyone know how to fix This as I need to use my iPad for school.

Have you tried setting it up fresh from scratch already? If you can reproduce the problem with a blank iPad it will be easier to reproduce later on when you visit the Apple Store for service.

Well a factory reset will likely be one of the recommended next troubleshooting steps. If you can reproduce the issue and have not applied a previous backup then you’re either looking at a big or a hardware issue.
