Yeah it's called

www.Facebook.com

How long did it take facebook to utilise the push notification system? I reckon it'll be awhile before we see an iPad app from facebook - although it would be a great app!

As much as facebook.com would be the logical thing to do - facebook.com is designed for mouse/keyboard use, so a touch UI would be so much nicer.

Although will facebook bother with an app?
The current iPhone app is ad-less, so the more people use iphone/ipad facebook, the less ad impressions for FB

Facebook should leverage this as a great opportunity to evolve the site for iPad and INCLUDE ads.

A specific iPad app that optimizes the site for touch, but adds ads in a non-intrusive manner would be KILLER!
