on my 512 gb ipad pro ver 3 11” I am full with 499 gb saved. It’s major item ks a massive 350 gb Photos file.
I will be sailing away from internet for weeks at a time so need a working solution which allows me to get all or most of photos file onto a portable ssd. I also keep a copy of all photos from iphone 14 pro max merged which backs up when I have internet on my iphone. I just keep the condensed photo file on the iphone and ideally would like to do that on the ipad with full file on the ssd.
The samsung t7 shield has been recommended but J am confused, will ex-fat serve my needs?
When file uploads to internet from iphone would I need to download it to get it onto ssd with ipad. Is there a functional backup all for photos? Might it be better to divide photos into multiple smaller files if that is even possible.
