I’ve been thinking about iPads that may get released over the next year and thinking about iPhones alongside the iPad. One of the things I’ve been thinking about is storage. It baffles me that the iPad Pro is $100 more expensive than the MacBook Air and has half the storage and no keyboard. So I have a hope/prediction of what new iPads will be released this year and the storage they will start with.

iPad 10th generation: 64, 256gb
iPad Air 5th generation: 128, 256, 512GB (to mirror the iPhone 13 line)
iPad Pro (m2): 256, 512gb, 1,2 tb

not holding my breath for this to happen but it would be pretty cool.

I think your prediction sounds very good but “this year “ is only two more days…

Without meaningful competition forcing them to offer better base models, Apple loves to make the base configs just a little tight, to nudge you into hitting that upgrade option button. (Look at the recently released Mini 6, with only 64GB for $500)

I think the only reason they offer decent base storage on their iPhones is because of competition, and there is no real equivalent competitor for iPads.
