iPad iPad strokes disappearing. Still.

I just recently got an ipad 6th gen and a stylus (not apple pencil but also not bluetooth) and in EVERY program I use if I do circles repeatedly it often stops working or deletes them. It seems fine sometimes but the moment I get back to short sketchy strokes it happens again and seems to persist once it starts.

Zoom is off. I use a glove or don't touch my palm to the screen at all.
Any other ideas?
