Hello!
i received my iPad Air 5 today and so far it’s amazing. Except for one thing that strikes me as somewhat odd:
My old iPad Air 3 and the new 5 don’t seem too happy to sync iMessages. I have holes in some of my conversations that even persisted after the Airplane Mode on/off trick to force syncing and restarting the iPad entirely.

I “restored” the new Air from the old one, so the settings should all be the same. Surely, this isn’t a thing that just happens when you get a new iPad that you then can’t use the old one or your risk sync issues?

Any ideas what I can do? :(

I have saving messages on iCloud turned off. Maybe turning it on to have them saved from a device that has all messages and then turning saving off again might work?
I think I’ll try that later.
