Yes I know it's just I am in stoke on Trent it's not that hot wondering if anybody used in really hot places yet was going to take away on holiday but not sure if will be worth it now

I was at the beach this weekend and I had my iPad in the trunk of my car while we were playing minigolf. When I came back to the car, the thing was nearly on fire and it of course wouldn't fully turn on, giving me the error message about being too hot. I'm not too worried about it, after a few minutes in the AC it was fine. I think it is just a safeguard built into the thing.

Sounds reasonable. It's probably also a good safety measure as it certainly doesn't seem it's ever going to get that hot, by itself. It seems no matter what intensive thing I've run on the thing, the whole device remained cool. Something I took notice of, because neither my phone nor my laptop could do that.
