I really don't see much benefit or advantage to this feature. Anyone care to explain if and why they like it? Also, does it work in Safari? I tried it in Safari, but can only manipulate the cursor with my finger within the url bar, as that's where the cursor remains when you bring up the keyboard. Otherwise, I cannot get the two finger gesture (trackpad) to work within the body of a Safari web page. Is this normal; is this gesture not intended work in Safari?

Thanks, Capt. That's what I figured. I guess I'll have to use it more to see the advantages, if any.

I'd think it be very useful in Pages, Word and other programs as such. Whether writing emails, assignments, or anything lengthy I'm sure it's a praise worthy addition. I like it, and I've only used it primarily through iMessage.

I haven't used it till today, so maybe I'll warm up to it as I use it more.

Breaking habits is the trickiest part to do. When I see a typo, I will raise my finger and tap on the word to select it out of habit. Consciously remembering that the trackpad function is there will take some time getting used to.
