Now that I''ve discovered what generation iPad that I have, I'm wondering if it'll ever update further than iOS 9.3.5 .

I have an iPad 3rd generation. I didn't see that generation 3 iPad was going get the iOS 11 update.

nop the ipad 3 is done IOS 9.3.5 was the last update for ipad 3

@snow755 - Aww poo. I was thinking that was what was going on since it never updated to iOS 10. Thanks for the answer.

@Math889 Thanks. Apparently, mine is a generation 3. And there's no more upgrades for it.
