Did iOS 11 change the way they calculate usage time? I've had a an iPad Pro 10.5 for a short time now, and i've noticed that the usage time is almost always almost the same as the standby time. For example, at the moment it says:
Usage 17 hr, 12 min
Standby 18 hr, 56 min
I'm pretty sure i haven't been on it every waking minute since yesterday when i unplugged it, and that i slept more than an hour and a half.
Looking at the list of apps and their battery usage, its pretty much all the same apps that i had with my old iPad, and never had that happen with it.

Sounds just like a stuck background process. Restart the device and recharge to 100.

Click on the clock icon to show detailed time info and inspect the results.

I see nothing out of the ordinary there. Since i fully charged yesterday at 7:00pm, my usage and standby are exactly the same...
Usage 19hr, 45 min
Standby 19 hr, 45 min
And oddly, i added up all the time for each of the appications that populate the list there.... and it only comes to 10.33 hours... i know there are more apps that dont show up on the list, but they would all be below the 1% and couple minutes.
I'll try Mlrollin91's advice and restart the device and charge.. and see what happens...

Usage and standby times would usually not be the same, otherwise that means you or some process is constantly using the device, which shouldn't be the case.
