I have never been able to put .m4v files on my iPhone, as the res was too high, the size was 500mb per half an hour.

I am keen to get one, however this will be a huge let down, if i have to re-size all my movies and tv shows especially for the iPad.

Does this issue occour with the iPad, anyone who owns the iPad that can answer this question would be great?

Thanks in advance.

I am having issues as well. I have the AppleTV Preset using Handrake and those videos say they are not the proper format when trying to put them on the iPad. But if I select the video and tell iTunes to convert it to iPad / AppleTV format, it says it already in the proper format.

Not sure if it is a bug or if I am just doing something wrong.
