Ipad WiFi sold out

So after a month of persuading and thanks to a bonus from work, I was FINALLY able to convince the wife to let me get the 32gig wifi version. Of course she gives me permission on the day the 3G version comes out. I called both apple stores and the one apple best buy near me and they're all sold out. Two questions... what are the chances that apple will be getting in wifi only models with the 3G shipment they're getting today? Also, how often to shipments come in? would it be quicker to reserve at the store and wait for the next shipment or just order it online and wait for the 5-7 days. I know i've waited a month, but the thought of waiting another week is KILLING me. I want it NOW!!!!!

Thanks in advance, i'm sure 1,000 people have asked these questions already, but with all the 3g threads i couldn't find anything.

I'd imagine you wouldn't be affected by the 3G lines. Each store gets shipments at different times and days, just keep calling around.

Today is 3G day. Who knows if Apple will include wifi only models in their shipments.

My advice would be to check again in the afternoon to see if anything was delivered.

Keep in mind that Apple Stores are closed today between 4-5pm.

Well apparently they got a bunch of 16 and 32 gig wifi models with the shipment of 3Gs. I'm now the proud owner of an ipad!!! WOOT!!!!
